Salary for university students completing their second year in school in the spring of 2009 is $2,250. At Timber Lake Camp, we have developed a very comprehensive evaluation and bonus program. Based on job performance, bunk counselors can earn up to an additional $500 in bonuses. A Travel Allowance is also available to all North American staff who have completed their Freshmen year in college, live in a bunk, and are traveling more than 350 miles, each way to camp. American staff are entitled to travel allowance up to $250 to help defer the cost of coming to camp. Canadian staff are entitled to a travel allowance up to $600 to help defer the cost of coming to camp and obtaining your visa and SEVIS. In total, a staff member completing their second year of university can earn up to $2,750 for a summer at camp.
