Grace Miata began her "camping" career in January 1998, as Jay's full-time Executive Assistant, an energizing change from her former career in the non-profit world. This will be her 14th summer at Timber Lake Camp, and was proud to be inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2002. During the summer months, Grace handles the business end of camp, including vendor billing, health department issues, camper cash and is always ready to help staff and answer parent questions. She has two daughters and four grandchildren and a large extended family, all of whom live near camp and enjoys visiting with them on her days off. In her spare time, Grace enjoys all kinds of musical venues and is an avid Yankee fan.
