Timber Lake Campers Support SCOPE!

There is nothing that makes our Timber Lake Family prouder than one of our own campers supporting a great cause!  Recently, for her Mitzvah (preceding her Bat Mitzvah in a few weeks), Hayley Canell has chosen to raise money for an organization that is near and dear to our hearts; SCOPE. Please check out her message to her friends and family and help support a great cause!

Dear Friends and Family,

I am getting very excited to have my Bat Mitzvah with in just a few weeks.

In preparing to become a B’nai Mitzvah, I am now working on my Mitzvah project. For my project, I have decided to raise money for a charity called SCOPE (Summer Camp Opportunities Promote Education). SCOPE funds scholarships for children in need who would never have the opportunity to go to summer camp. Summer camp allows these children to have fun, while giving them with a chance to develop skills that will help them succeed in their lives. I love going to camp and it has always been a very special experience for me. I want to share what I have been lucky to have with children who are not as fortunate.

To raise money for SCOPE, I designed a SCOPE bracelet for sale. A picture of the bracelet, as well as an order form, are attached. If you would like to purchase a bracelet ($3 each), please fill out the form and return it to me. All of the money I raise will go directly to SCOPE. It is my hope to raise enough money to send one or more children to camp this summer.

Thank you!
Hayley
