New Camp Families Enjoy A Day Packed Full Of Fun!
This past Saturday, our new campers of 2012 came up to camp for a packed day of fun and activities at our Open House. Parents were greeted at Jay and Mindy’s cabin and our TLC staff did a great job of making them feel right at home!
The event started at 12:00pm with full camp tours for our new campers and their parents to help them get acclimated with TLC’s amazing facilities and camp layout. The tours ended in the dining hall, where our new families were able to enjoy some delicious pizza, tuna, egg salad, and of course – Reggie’s Cookies!
The day culminated with the girls participating in everyone’s favorite game; gaga, along with basketball drills and foul shots as the finale. The boys played an awesome game of kickball and finished the day with a fun game of knockout! It was great to see their enthusiasm and we knew it was a awesome day when several of the parents had a hard time trying to get their campers to leave camp!
It was amazing to see the excitement on our new camper’s faces and this weekend really put us into full camp mode! We can’t wait to see the rest of your smiling faces come June 23rd! See you all soon!
