Tennis Time! Shaevitz vs Sertner

First it was Connors versus McEnroe, then Agassi versus Sampras, soon-after it was Nadal versus Federer.  Now those guys better watch out because Timber Lake’s own Blake Shaevitz and Austin Sertner are taking over the male tennis scene, while Brooke Digia did her own impression of Martina Navratilova this past weekend!

We couldn’t be happier to spread the news that two of Timber Lake’s own squared off in the USTA Under 14 Championship tennis match at Sportime Tennis in Syosset this past weekend and boy was it fun to watch for Jay and I!  Austin and his family made the trip all the way up from Florida and edged out Blake in the finals. Both showed great sportsmanship throughout the match and of course always kept those STARFISH values in the back of their minds! It is no wonder why we are building brand new tennis courts for the summer of 2012!
